Regarding suspensive customs regimes to facilitate trade regarding the types of warehouses, definition and valences, we seek to understand with partners the possibility of obtaining authorization to formalize Fayol as a customs space (faithful depositary), in one of the concepts:
1. SECURED WAREHOUSE or TEMPORARY DEPOSIT
or
2. TRANSIT WAREHOUSE or TRANSITa
Both respond to what is requested by Importers (and Logistics operators).
The first is of greater scope, and of better use for all involved IMPORTADORES, AG. FORWARDING / NAVIGATION and FAYOL.
It is the customs storage regime in which the packaged merchandise can be nationalized (Definitive Import – IM4, Temporarily Imported – IM5, Re-Exported – EX3 or Permanently Exported;
With this concept, Importers can purchase goods in quantity and carry out partial customs clearance, avoiding financial efforts to pay Duties, Taxes and other charges (without prejudice to the payment of the customs guarantee to be paid by the regulated Importer). This is the concept of a Customs Warehouse where parking periods are extended, normally between 3 and 5 years, but it always depends on the Customs Authority.
It is the customs storage regime in which goods are parked to be processed under the Customs Transit Regime, which can be national or international. It is important to emphasize that these goods can change means of transport or even be nationalized, depending on the economic operator s wishes. .
The presentation made at the meeting reflected exactly the above.
Expecting a positive positioning from AGT, we eagerly await the response that will make us pioneers in this approach with General Tax Administration in this matter.
